SLO Hosts 8U State Tournament
Opening ceremonies were held today for the 2013 8 and Under Cal Ripken State Championship Tournament at Upper Sinsheimer Fields in San Luis Obispo.
The tournament features twelve teams, including the SLO 8 and Under All Stars. The SLO All Stars will be in action this week at Upper Sinsheimer on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with games starting at 2:00 PM each day.
The tournament represents the second time that the new field at Upper Sinsheimer is used for competitive play since it opened in June (with the first being the annual Beat The Heat tournament, which was held in June).
