We are excited to share Beaverdam Youth League Baseball and Softball registration will start March 9th, 2022.      Sign up your players and share with their friends an invite to join us for a great season this year.   We look forward to seeing everyone on the field  for our summer season.  Registration will be open March 9 through the BYL site: Baseball and Softball Registration

Parents - Please consider supporting your kids and Beaverdam Youth League through coaching or assistant coach.  This is a great way to make a connection with the kids and promote their growth and development in sportsmanship and teamwork in a fun environment.   1st time and seasoned coaches are welcomed and will be supported through BYL Baseball and Softball Coach Coordinators this year.  We believe in community and will work to make the experience great through support and engagement.

Leagues

• Blastball - 3 year olds (co-ed)
• Coach pitch/t-ball for 4-5 year olds (co-ed)
• 6-8  Baseball and Softball Machine Pitch
• 9-10 Baseball and Softball Youth Fast Pitch
• 11-13 Baseball and Softball Youth Fast Pitch

Timeline and Events

March 9th: Registration for baseball and softball and will remain open through April 8th.

March 26th: Field Clean-Up Day - bring your families, rakes and blowers!  This is also a great event to earn volunteer hours for school or work.  More specifics about this event to come.

April 23rd: Player assessments for all 9 - 13 youth from noon - 3:30 pm.  

April 23rd: Coaches Meeting 4:00 pm:  Equipment, rule books and other important information for the season to be given out.  Time and place will be communicated to our volunteer coaches by Baseball and Softball Coach Coordinators as the date approaches.

Week of May 2nd: Team rosters finalized and coaches will begin reaching out to their teams for introductions. 

Week of May 9th:  Kick-off of 2022 practices at the Beaverdam Ruritan Club baseball fields located at 18002 Teman Road. Beaverdam, VA 23015.  Schedules and Field assignments will be provided by your coaches prior.  

June 10th:  Beaverdam Youth League Opening Day Event.  A day for the public and our baseball players at the Beaverdam Ruritan Club.  A night to kick off our season with kids games, raffles, food under the lights.
